http://www.napavalleyregister.com/articles/2009/09/23/news/local/doc4ab9a76af01b9678133075.txt

Tens of thousands of dollars worth of solar panels were stolen from a winery in the Rutherford area early Monday.

This is SICK!!!

Ok, so this is not really solar but it IS an Electric Car (Solar can help charge it)..but not just any electric car. A street car/drag racing car - Check out the link...and electric car runs an 11 second quarter mile consistently..beating GAS powered cars like Corvettes...truly incredible!! I want one of these zero emission race cars :- )

Hey Terry,

It's Mary. A year ago I took you class and a year later I'm still unemployed. Don't know what else to do in this industry. It was a great class but now feel like I've lost what I've learned.  Glad all is going great for you and BOTR!

Hey Terry hows it going. Things are progressing nicely. My new company is called Centre Line Designs Green Energy Ltd. At the end of August I will be involved with a solar install back in my home town. I am going to take an energy audit coarse before I start selling the solar. If I am a certified energy auditor then my clients are eligable for grants and rebates. I am also going to be a dealer for Conergy in the Vancouver Area. So things are happening. Just thought I would drop you a note and let you know whats going on. Later Man.

Good afternoon Terry. Sorry to be a bother. I do have another question that I believe was not covered in class. any clarification you could offer would be super. I know that the Fire department video we watched said they would like 3' of access on the rooftop. Is that access around the entire Array, or just on one side of the array? 3 foot of space all they way around eliminates alot of room for panels. Also, How close to the edge of the roof, or edge of the gutters can we install the array. Is there any literature I could find for this. There wasn't much help from the NEC, or our class book. (Unless I missed it). Any help you could be would be awesome.

Regards,
NAthaniel

Whats up Terry,

IT has been a while since I logged on to the Alumni Site. I had a question for you... But first an update. I am working on (1) solar project, and am witing for town approval of my drawings so we can proceed with the isntallation. I am also working on Solar Project number 2, for a client with a flat T&G Roof. He would like solar power on his pool house, and I was wondering what the best product is for a flat roof. Should I use standard panels and lay them flatt, or the other product that was designed for flatt roof install. What was the name of that product, and where can I get my hands on some specs, and a quote.

Thanks,

Hope the classes are going well,

Talk to you soon
