Field Coating Specialist 

We are seeking a roof coating specialist to provide technical training and support for roof coating

installations nationwide.

Cool Roof solution for flat roofs in the industry. We are looking for an energetic, smart, customer oriented person who has experience with roofs and is a problem-solver to join our team. 

Job Overview

• Responsibility for quality control of projects

• Train and coach roof coating applicators

• Assess condition of roof to see if it’s a good candidate for coating

• Suggest repairs or other remediation to ready a roof for coating

• Write “project specs” to prepare application team

• Supervise application process as necessary for quality control

• Review coated roof for warranty purposes and customer satisfaction

• Support the sales process with technical product knowledge

• Document and communicate lessons learned and best practices

Requirements:

• Excellent observation and communication skills

• Desire to crawl around a roof to look for problem spots

• 5 years commercial roofing or commercial construction experience

• Experience with solar systems or LEED a plus

• Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. – 75% travel
