Android Apps

Have any of you guys experimented/tested any of the android solar apps? The reviews appear to make the apps a viable/cheaper option to purchasing the SunEye shade tool. At the very least the apps could be a great starter tool until you can afford to purchase the SunEye tool. What are your thoughts?....Regards.
